Are you an experienced musician with some Klezmer experience who enjoys learning by ear? We are running a 4-week intensive series in which we will learn, arrange and perform more complex Klezmer repertoire. We welcome instrumentalists (all types of instruments) ages 18+.

What You Can Expect:

• Course Structure: 4 weekly 90-minute classes in a warm rehearsal setting in Elsternwick. During these classes, Amy and Adam will teach Klezmer repertoire and style, focusing on melody, harmony and rhythm in the aural tradition (no sheet music!). We will also look at aspects of traditional Klezmer improvisation and accompaniment.

• Pricing: Full term: $120 gen adm/ $100 full-time students and concession;
  One-off weekly sessions: $32 gen adm/ $27 full-time students and concession.

• Instruments: Amplified instruments will need to bring their own equipment. There is one piano available.
